There are 10 different patterns of So and Mi on this melody practice page. For each one, students will write out the given pattern using the words So and Mi on the staff lines where these notes live in C Major. There is an example So and Mi on the staff lines for each pattern to remind students what line each note lives on. This practice can easily be adapted to by having students write out notes on the lines in different rhythmic patterns and then perform them correctly with rhythm and the correct hand signals.
